korean-pop dolls

very recently, i have found 3 of these so-called k-pop 'dolls'.

Hyori Lee, Wonder Girls and Generation's Girl (aka SNSD)

as the name implied, they're very pretty and nice to look at.

but inside, they're light and empty.

and that is how it is.

and that is how it would be.

Click the appropriate links below to reveal their music videos, and see for yourself.

Would you like them?

HYORI LEE - U GO GIRL

WONDER GIRLS - SO HOT

GIRLS' GENERATION - GEE

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*

i have all 3 songs rotating in my mp3 right now... because i can't lie... the chorus are pretty catchy... and the best part of it is that one don't really have to understand the lyrics to enjoy their soulless tune and highly marketed mainstream music.

yay for k-pop!

  1. Lol, that gee song made my friday! Very nice to look at and listen to for sure. Though I wouldn't go as far as saying that those girls are souless, empy and light...Unless you were expecting classical instruments and lyrics talking about philosophy and religion. If it's catchy, entertaining and it's on repeat in your mp3 player, then their duty has been fulfilled. And I salute!

  2. Not that I expect to find solutions for the worlds' problems by listening to music LOL!

I guess it IS too harsh to say that they're just mere empty shells, because those girls are just doing their job; and they're pretty good at it (well... at least they didn't sound like a train wreck)

You're right, as long as it is entertaining, hooray to everyone!

*yeah that GEE song is really cute + happy + catchy! i can't get my mind off repeatedly singing gee gee gee gee gee!
