Fatwa Malaysia Sana Sini

Aku ketinggalan pasal isu fatwa kat Malaysia.

Bila baca balik, rasa pelik jugak.

Asal non-muslim plak yg protest pasal fatwa terhadap ‘tomboy @ penkid’ nih?

Pelik. Memang pelik

Tapi memang kena ada undang2 la pasal lesbian nih.

Aku syorkan hanya lesbian2 yg hot sahaja dibenarkan.

Aku syorkan korang search keywords seperti berikut: hot lesbian kissing asian lollipop banana

Lepas isu lesbian/tomboy/penkid, datang isu yoga pula.

Note: Cara hasilkan Yoga Fire utk Dhalsim: Tekan bawah pastu pusing ke depan stick sambil tekan putang punch.

Yg tu takpe lagi. Kalo maksud nya pasal nama2 gundik2 yg sultan pahang penah ehem ehem, mcam mana?

So apabila aku cuba meniru gaya kucing yg pandai berpantun… tak logic kan? Tak masuk akal sebab dalam dunia yg kita hidup nih, takde kucing yg pandai berpantun.

Sama lah mcam tuhan hindu. Kalau ikut ajaran Islam, tuhan hindu tidak wujud. So, tak logic la manusia bole tiru gaya tuhan Hindu.

Dok gitu?

So kepada muslim kat Malaysia yg percaya bahawa dia kena ikut Majlis Fatwa Malaysia, elok lah berenti aje buat Yoga tuh. Buat tai-chi lagi best. Lagi cool apa.

Kalo gian gak nak buat yoga, jangan buat mantera dia, pastu buat la gaya baru. Gaya telur kena sepak ke, gaya mencangkung nak berak ke. Apa2 aje lah. Asalkan bukan gaya yg datang dari Yoga. Pastu buat la nama baru. Jgn letak nama yoga, buat la nama yg ‘vogue’ sket.

Hancuss terus.

of breaking locks, japanese kids and UNIX

Today I went to the nearest bicycle shop near the university to get help in cutting the locks on my bike. Yes, I lost the darn keys and the only solution to the problem is to get the locks cut at a bike shop because that is the only place where they have the special cutting tools to get the job done.

The bike shop is owned by an old war veteran who used to serve in the pacific battles of World War 2. While he works on my bike, he told me a little bit about the war.

He served in Saipan as a combat personnel and he told me that he was considered lucky to have survived Saipan because a lot of his buddies died serving there. He also has friends who served in Malaya and he told me that a lot of the guys who served in Malaya survived; unlike in other battles.

I didn’t have the courage to ask him「鬼畜米兵を殺したことある?」

- Have you killed any Kichiku Beihei?

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*

As I was looking at him working on my locks while telling stories about the war, this one little boy, maybe around 2-3 years old, come up to me, and asked 「

Mama, doko? = Where’s Mommy?

I was like woo where does this boy came from? So I asked him about his mother, and he replied 「

Jitensha = Bicycle

Probably his mom brought him somewhere around here by bike, but I can’t really help. The war vet is also clueless. So he called his wife to deal with it. I don’t know where his wife took that little boy, but I hope he found his mom safely.

Anyways, that boy is so freaking cute. Japanese kids are very cute! That made me want to have my own Japanese kids hehehe.

^*^*

鬼畜米兵 - Kichiku Beihei is what the Japanese used to call the American Army during the war. It means ' The Fucking American Army Devils/Demons'. But now, people don't really have a strong sentiment against the American Army, except in Okinawa of course. The Americans have a huge military base in Okinawa, and there is a lot of activists in Okinawa who opposes the base because of the many rape and murder cases commited against innocent school girls there. These animals rape and killed its victims, then quickly return to base to hide from Japanese law.

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*

Moving on, I now have to try to get used to this new unix operating system that I have to use for the next 3-4 months.

The reason for this is because the theme of my thesis has changed dramatically, the machines that I’m going to work on has also changed and the new simulation software that I’m going to use is only going to work on Unix systems.

The simulations that I’m going to perform are going to be pretty processor heavy, because it requires the system to perform mathematical calculations while trying to display the results in real-time graphics.

That means the system depends a lot of graphic processors to help the CPU. The problem is, I try to update the drivers for the graphic processors to the latest ones so that when I was not working or just taking a break, I could surf the media-heavy internet and also watch videos in a smoother fashion. The real problem is that when I updated the drivers, it interferes with the simulation program, fucking up the real-time graphics simulation.

So this means that when I want to work, I have to boot up Unix using the default drivers that won’t support the recent video playbacks and the media-heavy internet.

When I want to take a break, surf the net or maybe watch some videos, I have to re-boot to Windows with the new driver that support multi-media features.

This going back and forth between operating systems is freaking me out! I want to be able to watch Akiyama Rina’s gravure DVDs while I work on my simulations!!!

interim-presentation done (^.^)

It’s November the 20th, the morning sun is shining brightly, and yes, I’m still breathing.

I did the interim-presentation yesterday, and thankfully, I could walk out of that presentation room without any physical or mental injury.

It was not as bad as I expected.

Of course, I could’ve done it better if I was not sniffing all the time and not stutter when presenting; but in the end I’m so glad that it was over.

And I even took a video while I was presenting.

A note about the video: The first minute of it is in total darkness because I forgot to take it out from my pocket. I took the video just so that I could review my own presentation and hopefully improve upon my presentation skills.

And I don’t think anyone should look at it because, who wants to hear me talk about a subject as boring as molecular kinetics in phase transition

Anyways, with the presentation done, now I have a little freedom to do what I like this weekend. I’d probably spend the whole weekend indoors because it’s already snowing and I don’t want to be outside in the cold.

I can finally start reading the Idiot’s Guide to Street Magic that I bought some time ago at a bargain price from Amazon.

I can also try to finish playing Dead Space and hopefully Rainbow Six Vegas 2. Or I can start a new Fallout 3 game and this time, maybe I’ll try something new by playing an evil female character with maximum strength and minimum intelligence.

I got tons and tons of new movies to play catch up with. It’s been a week since I’ve watched any movies, and that is rare because I normally watch one movie a day.

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*

Alhamdulillah, satu masalah dah selesai. Baik aku berenti menulis untuk hari ini, pegi solat Zohor kat umah Faiz, pastu tolong jadi bahan experiment Shazy. Chiao!

interim-presentation morning (*.*)

Today is going to be the day that I do the interim-presentation that I mentioned in my previous post. I really don’t know how this will turn out, but I guess I should just be prepared for the worst.

Although without any guidance and revision from my professor, I hope I’ve prepared a decent presentation that won’t get me killed by the other vicious department professors attending the presentation.

Anyways, one of my lab partners, who also didn’t get the opportunity to have his preparation for the presentation checked by the professor, is going nuts at the moment. He’s like o shit what should I be doing now!?

He is freaking out more than I do, and that kinda irks me.

He is a NATIVE JAPANESE speaker, so it’s going to be so much easier for him to do the presentation than me. I’m the foreign student here dude, and I don’t speak Japanese as awesome as you!

At times like these, I really feel that doing engineering in Japanese is kinda hard compared to doing it in English; I am once more being faced with a language barrier.

But I’ve walk over that barrier many, many times, so why should this be any harder?

My lab partner should really chill the fuck down though, ‘coz him being nervous is making ME nervous. Ok, I'm really contradicting my self here but I’m not trying to say that he is having it easier than me, with him being Japanese and all, but come on! Sometimes shit are fucked up and didn’t go exactly as planned, so just deal with it like a man.

I got 5 more hours to go . . . . .

and oh, it started to snow this morning. so begin the winter season. i'm already getting cold feet.

Thesis Crisis of The Weekend

I woke up this morning to the sound of my cellphone buzzing.

YOU GOT MAIL

It was from my research professor, so I know that this will be an important one because he normally sends emails ONLY when there is something really necessary to be informed; but this time I was not prepared at all for this particular email.

My professor’s father died last night, and today he is going back to his hometown in Kyoto to take care of it. Rest In Peace.

He also said in the mail that he is taking a brief break and probably will not be in Akita until next week.

I was really sad to hear this, but then I realized that I should be more shocked, worried and sad even more:

I was supposed to meet him tomorrow (Monday) so that I could present him my preparations for the coming thesis interim-presentation on Wednesday. The objective of the meeting is to make sure that the decisions and choices that I made in preparation for the presentation is in-line with his visions about the thesis; and also to check the flow of the whole presentation, confirm the data and simulation method, and also my Japanese grammar.

But now with him not being able to make the meeting, I am left to check and fool-proof my own work, which is very difficult for me to do at this point because I just got the theme of the thesis 2 weeks ago, therefore not acquiring enough knowledge and intellectual skills to do it myself.

I’m kinda fucked here.

Ok, it might not be as bad, but what worries me is not the presentation, but the ‘questioning time’ AFTER the presentation. I’m worried that the other professors, who are going to attend the presentation, are going to torture me with sarcastic critics on how half-assed my ideas were and how terrible the presentation was.

Having to do the presentation without first consulting with my research professor, I really have lost confidence to perform well, presenting and answering questions correctly. Japanese professors are pretty vicious when it comes to criticizing student’s presentations. They will rip and tear you apart if you make a dumb mistake, and that will really make you ‘down’.

Ah! Enough with the whining! I can do this! I've been in worse conditions before so bring it on bitches!

^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*

On the other hand, I’m so disappointed in myself at how bad I handle the death of the people of the people that I know. I really have a problem on what to say to them at these sad times. I really want them to know that I felt sorry for them, but I lack the proper social skills to tell them my feeling. This is because I’m always concerned that I might have a slip of the tongue and totally make it worse for him/her.

I really don’t know about what is the proper response that I should give my research professor. If anyone out there has an idea, please share it with me. Should I call him? Should I just send my condolences through email? What should I say? I'm really clueless and lost here

:(

After thinking carefully about what I'm going to write, finally I have decided to send the professor something simple. This is what I sent him:

突然の訃報にただ驚いています。心より御冥福をお祈りいたします。中間発表は頑張ってやりますので、心配しないで下さい。それでは失礼します。

At first, I was going to sent him something that I later realized as being too 'formal and native' for a foreigner to write. Something like this:

I hope everything will be fine with his family.

And also my interim-presentation.

11/11 is pocky day!

do you know what day it is?

it's pocky day of course!

well, at least in japan.
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
and the popular stick biscuit covered with chocolate has a new girl to represent it in tv commercials.

the new pocky girl is shiori kutsuna (忽那汐里), and i thought she was aragaki yui (last year's pocky girl) when i first saw the new pocky commercial.

i have no idea who this girl is!
*^*^*^*^*^*^*^*^
pocky commercials is always fun because they tend to use cute energetic girls doing wacky dances and funny faces.

this year is no exeption.

check it out:

testing spoiler script

i've found this very neat script to enable 'spoiler' functions in blogger, just like in the forums. this will be an experimental post to test the script. if this handy script works, i might be able to 'brighten' up each of my post with a new idea that i have. :)

If you could see this picture and this text ONLY after clicking the link, then this script is valid and very useable. I'm thinking about posting at least one picture that could please your eyes in each post, but I don't want to be too intrusive about it.

Anyways, this is the ever brilliant Nozomi Sasaki in a school uniform posing in a figure shop in Akihabara. I hope it pleases you eyes thus achieving my objective of applying this new script.

upgrade problems :)

Last year I upgraded from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 and noticed that the new program began unexpected child processing that took up quite a lot of space and valuable resources. No mention of this phenomenon was included in the product brochure.

In addition, Wife 1.0 installs itself into all other programs, and launches during the system initialization where it monitors all other system activity. Applications like Pokernight 10.3, Drunken Boys Night 2.5, and Monday Night Football 5.0 no longer run, crashing the system whenever selected.

I am thinking of going back to Girlfriend 7.0, but the uninstall does not seem to work on this program. Can you help me PLEASE!?!?

Thanks, Joe

Dear Joe,

This is a very common problem men complain about but is mostly due to a primary misconception. Many people upgrade from Girlfriend 7.0 to Wife 1.0 with the idea that Wife 1.0 is merely utilities and entertainment program.

Wife 1.0 is an OPERATING SYSTEM and is designed by its creator to run everything. It is very unlikely that you will be able to purge Wife 1.0 and still convert back to Girlfriend 7.0. Hidden operating files within the system would cause Girlfriend 7.0 to emulate Wife 1.0, so nothing is gained other than small change of scenery. It is impossible to purge, delete, or un-install the program files from the system once they are installed. You can not go back to Girlfriend 7.0 because Wife 1.0 is not designed to do this.

Some have gone as far as installing Girlfriend 8.0 in a hidden subdirectory, or tried installing Wife 2.0, but end up with more problems than the original system had. Detection of Girlfriend 8.0 or Wife 2.0 can result in Wife 1.0 creating general protection faults such as “Warning- Cannot find Alimony or Child Support files, or files are out of date.” Because Wife 1.0’s directories and sub-directories are almost impossible to understand or modify, some over-rides have been installed to assist you in (at least) making Wife 1.0 a livable experience.

I recommend that you attempt the following at the onset of ANY problems that you might have. After any system crash, Wife 1.0 WILL give you an opportunity to fix the problem yourself (although you might not see the opportunity, it IS there, you just have to look for it). At the C prompt enter the following:

c:\apologize

Generally this should work, unless you have truly created a massive error. In any case, avoid hitting the “Esc” key at all costs! There are also add-ons that you can install to assist you in your efforts. Try buying a copy of Flowers 4.1 or Chocolates 5.5, or both for really big errors. Do not, under ANY circumstances install Secretary v38.24.36 with short skirt upgrade! This is not a supported application for any of the Wife OR Girlfriend series programs, and is likely to cause irreversible damage to the system.

Wife 1.0 is a great program, but it tends to be very high maintenance. Wife 1.0 comes with several support programs, such as Clean 2.5, Sweep 3.0, Cook 1.5 and DoLaundry 4.2. However, be very careful how you use these programs. Improper use will cause the system to launch the program NagNag 9.5 . Once this happens, the only way to improve the performance of Wife 1.0 is to purchase additional software. I recommend Silk Dress 2.1 and Jewellery 5.0

Best of Luck, Tech Support

hisashiburi no suu sii

went to eat sushi again last night but something very weird happened... i don't felt like it was the best thing in the world anymore. of course it was delicious all the same, but it doesn't felt special anymore. maybe because i was stressed out?

i can't get my mind of the bundles and bundles of work that had to be done that i've lost the spirit to enjoy a good sushi.

it is all about obama

the prediction is true, obama won!

from now on, it is not about [YES WE CAN]

but more to [CAN OBAMA CHANGE?]

*^*^*^*^*^

it is already proven that obama has the ability to run a country; and this is backed by how good and organized his election campaign was. he was able to find legions and legions of volunteers to work for him; reaching out to younger people and even to those who has no interest in politics before.

he is also a genius in raising funds; by utilizing the ease of internet banking and social-network sites, it was estimated that his campaign fund almost doubled or maybe tripled his competitors. having an advantage in funds is always a good thing in politics.

it also happens to be that he has a very charismatic voice, and his speeches bring about an ample amount of hope to the people in these dire times. his speech writers are experts in writing speeches that reflected the people from the bottom up, not the other way around.

last but not least, ANY president after george w. bush is going to be good enough for everyone at the moment. lets be honest here, obama is a young cub in foreign policy, but of course, he has joe biden to counter that argument. barack obama has the aura of goodwill at the moment, and he best put that good impression to good use.

*^*^*^*^*^

it took the americans about 104 years to let a minority hold the biggest job in the country.

how many years would it take malaysians?

who knows?

but obama is proof that in america, anything is possible.

*^*^*^*^*^

change is imminent.

but like his previous predecessors, the united states would do what ever it takes to please their fellow jewish lobbyist. obama even said that he will make sure an undivided jerusalem for the israelites.

he has also started to almost 'nag' the world on how he is against iran from obtaining nuclear power, even though iran has no intention of obtaining nuclear weapons, by the words of ayatollah ali khamenei himself.

*^*^*^*^*^

these are just some of my knee-jerk reactions to the new obama presidency.

he deserved the win.

but real CHANGE comes from ACTION, not just charismatic speeches. lets just hope that he IS the president that the americans and the whole world is waiting for, all this time.

ccccold

it's getting colder here, and i started to piss more often these days because i don't sweat anymore. my skin started to loose moist; a good sign to buy ample stock of body lotion.

walaupon time ambik air sembahyang, rasa perit gila sejuk, tapi rasa best sebab at least aku usaha jugak nak jaga solat. tapi solat dalam keadaan mengeletar kesejukan, takleh khusyuk jugak hehehe.
